Business partner matchmaking platform

overview

While working at Meta, I was involved in a project to design a business partner matchmaking platform. The goal was to create a website interface that effectively communicated its purpose, was simple to use, and drove higher engagement.

The platform was designed to help business owners connect with the right partners–whether for marketing, design, or financial services–to support their business growth.

My role & contributions

As a UI/UX Designer, I played a key role in shaping the user experience from the ground up. My contributions included:

  • User research & persona development: Identified key user types and their needs to ensure the platform addressed real-world business challenges.

  • Information architecture & wireframing: Structured content and interactions to create an intuitive and seamless user journey.

  • Engagement-driven design: Focused on usability and clarity to encourage user interaction and successful matchmaking.

Although the project was ultimately not launched, it provided valuable insights into user-centered design for business networking platforms, This experience strengthened my ability to design interfaces that are not only functional but also drive engagement and deliver real value.

Website restructuring for improved navigation & usability

overview

I led the redesign of a highly complex website with an overwhelming categorization system. While the website offered extensive content, its structured to find relevant information and often got lost navigating between different sections.

My Role & Contributions

My responsibility was to streamline the website’s information architecture to improve usability and clarity. My key contributions included:

  • Comprehensive sitemap analysis: Mapped out the entire site to identify structural inconsistencies, redundancies, and user pain points.

  • Content organization & optimization: Restructured the information hierarchy, consolidating overlapping sections and removing unnecessary content.

  • Navigation simplification – Created a more intuitive system that enabled users to quickly locate the information they needed without frustration.

Before

The visual design lacked a clear focal point, and the content was scattered. Even with headings, users struggled to determine which section was most relevant to their needs. The overall experience felt overwhelming and unstructured.

After

A concise introduction was placed on the left to immediately clarify the purpose of this section. The content was then logically categorized into a well-structured system, making it easy for users to navigate and quickly find the information that best fits their needs.
